Chris and JohnPublicity is the topic for the third Bad Metaphor podcast. John and Chris talk about what is good and bad about publicity, how to become famous, meeting famous people, and making a stand.

We start out by talking about publicity and what it means to be famous and how it is possible to become famous. John explains his theory of “The F Cycle” using the example of a lemonade stand. We move on to famous people we’ve met or not met including filmmaker Jim Jarmusch and writer Sheree Fitch. One good way to get publicity is to take a stand and John tells a story about Martin Luther King and segregation and Chris talks about working on the film “When Voices Rise…” which told the story of the end of segregation in Bermuda. Then John thinks about Tod Maffin listening to the show and we wrap it all up.
